Bettjemans Hair Salon
A gold sponsor of the Crime Prevention Community
Bettjemans spa and salon has been an active participant in the Orakei community for the past 17 years. They take seriously their involvement with the Orakei, and the greater Auckland, communities. Bettjemans community spirit is most recently evidenced in the salon’s ‘Guerrilla Garden’ project. With Council approval, working together with Palmers, Remuera, and landscaper Delma Harrison, Bettjemans converted two bare, unkempt patches of council land in front of the salon into a beautiful fragrant garden, to be enjoyed by the whole community. Bettjemans is a thriving salon, serving the local community and beyond. They are committed to educating young people in the hair dressing industry through their apprenticeship programme and they employ a close-knit and loyal team of more than 20 talented, motivated and culturally diverse professionals, aged 20 – 67 years. The salon supports local schools with fundraising ventures and their stylists regularly provide their services free of charge for shows and initiatives in support of the Breast Cancer Research.
Bettjemans are proud to be part of their local community and proud to be supporters of the Crime Prevention Community, who help to keep their community safe.
